South Korea is home to colourful hanboks and historical places in the middle of Seoul, South Koreas capital. You will also find temples, fortresses and palaces.

Religion and Culture: While a little less than half of South Koreans practice religion, there are a few throughout the country. The major three are Protestant Christianity, Catholicism and Buddism.

Transportation around South Korea: Transportation in Korea is excellent, probably one of the best in the world. Buses always leave on time, the trains and taxis are really cheap and metros are super clean. Most signs are in English as well as Korean, so it is very easy to travel in Korea.

Lotte World, astoundingly known as the largest indoor theme park in the world. Don't be put off by the fact that it is indoors, because it is impressive in size, rides an entertainment, and it does host an outdoor section called the 'Magic Island' which is connected to the indoor area by monorail. It even operates rollercoasters!

There are attractions aimed more at younger children, some that cater to families, and of course, the more thrilling rides for the adrenalin junkies.

Most people would remember the global takeover that 'Gangnam Style' by Korean artist Psy achieved in 2012. The song took the world by storm, and hordes of people trawled the internet to find out what it is. The film clip itself was an over-the-top allegory of the affluent suburb of Gangnam, located in Seoul, where the residents are perceived to drip in riches and class.

One of the best cultural experiences i have ever had in Korea is Located in Yongin and only 35 minute taxi drive from Gangnam is the Korean Folk Village. We had the chance to experience and see traditional Korean culture and architecture. The grounds are much larger than we expected. We were lucky enough to be shown around by my cousins wife's parents. If you are a fan of KDrama then you need to go here. I personally have only ever been into one KDrama but This folk village has been the filming location for quite a lot of dramas and you too can wear hanbok and take photos where your favourite stars walked.

The main reason we decided to travel to Korea was because my cousin Miso was marrying his beautiful fiancee Juhee. Below are some pictures i took of the stunning wedding we attended.

Namsan Seoul Tower, more commonly known as N Seoul Tower, is one of Seoul's most recognisable landmarks today. To get to the top you will need to ride the cable car with a small round trip fee. This will take you to and from Namsan Mountain in under 5 minutes each way. It doesn't land straight at the tower itself but will have you take a scenic route involving lots of stairs 😅. Once we arrived, you need to buy another entrance ticket to go to the observatory. So we jumped into an elevator which took us to the top, the view from the tower was incredible!
