This is one of my favourite places to go when i want to get some good exercise in. Springwood Conservation Park has been a great  spur of the moment destination. The walking tracks can be joined from 5 different entry points, the main entry is off Jardine Drive where there is a parking area, undercover picnic tables. 

Theres 132 stairs going from the car park at Jardine Drive to the Plateau Drive entry. These stairs are known locally as "The Stairs of Death." Many of the stairs are steeper than typical so it feels more like hiking. 

All in all Springwood Conservation Park is an oasis of calm to be found in the midst of suburban busyness. We also saw a few sweet kookaburras on the way back to the car.

Mount Coolum hiking track - the views from the top are so beautiful! The height of Mt Coolum is 208m and well worth a climb when visiting the gorgeous Sunny Coast!

A 360-degree overview over the beautiful sunshine coast. One side offers views over the coastline and beaches extending from Moreton island to Double Island Point, the cane fields and the wetland areas of the Maroochy River valley, as well as the main areas of the coast. 

The other provides you with a more landscape view over the hills and valleys. This track will take you about 1 hours return. It is a beautiful hike and one of my favourites.

Mount Coolum hiking track - the views from the top are so beautiful! The height of Mt Coolum is 208m and well worth a climb when visiting the gorgeous Sunny Coast!

The Loea Boutique Hotel in Maroochydore is opposite the Maroochy River. The white palette is warmed by rattan furniture and brass bathroom fixtures. My husband and i ordered treats by the poolside from the cute vintage food truck and used the complimentary white bikes to cycle the region. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were cosy. We loved our stay here and will definitely be looking to stay here in the future.

Loea Hotel - Warm, breezy beach days

The Loea Boutique Hotel in Maroochydore is opposite the Maroochy River. The white palette is warmed by rattan furniture and brass bathroom fixtures. My husband and i ordered treats by the poolside from the cute vintage food truck and used the complimentary white bikes to cycle the region. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were cosy. We loved our stay here and will definitely be looking to stay here in the future.
