If you're heading or thinking of going to Australia then I'm sure a trip to Sydney is somewhere up there at the top of your list? Rightly so, with beautiful beaches, wonderful cafes, great walks to go on and countless things to do. From the Botanical gardens, Darling Harbour and its stunning beaches to the CBD (Central business district), Hyde Park and the Opera House, you won't be bored. Heres a little taste of my  24 hours in Sydney and what your adventure could look like.

Our first stop was the Social Hideout this very pretty brunch cafe. It is only 15 minutes from the Sydney Airport. You have most probably seen this cafe on social media as its noted to be one of the most, if not the most Instagram-worthy cafe around. The inside is even more stunning as the hanging above on the ceiling are gorgeous bundles of lilac wisterias and assorted purple, white and pink flowers. We already knew that we had to try those signature Taro Hot cakes and french toast with the Social Hideout milkshake bathtub. Food was delicious.

Next stop was the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Even though it was raining we still enjoyed our time. The city is big! So we just walked around and shopped and came across a delicious place to have our late lunch. Jimmy's Falafel. This Turkish influenced - Middle Eastern Diner has delicious food! Pretty bummed we don't have this in Brisbane.

Our last stop of the day was the Monet and Friends art exhibition, the Impressionists' works have been displayed and enjoyed around the world for almost two-hundred years - but never like this.
