Wow, wow, wow. That is just one of the many ways to describe the Maldives. Another that comes to mind includes the absolutely-exquisitely-extraordinarily-beautiful-tropical-paradise. Yep, that'll do it. Except even that mouthful doesn't do its heavenliness justice.

While days were spent makeup-free exploring the pure white beaches, sparkling turquoise ocean and coral reefs, evenings were a time to dress-up in our island best to enjoy the spectacular sunsets that never failed to impress.

There are so many amazing islands and places to stay in the Maldives. One of the accommodations that we fell in love with was Amari, Havodda, a overwater bungalow accommodation. Where the breakfast buffets are fresh and have variety of amazing food.

I would definitely recommend staying here, but keep in mind that it is a bit pricey, but totally worth it. Located on a private island 400km south of Male, you'll find Amari Havodda, Maldives in the Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll. Getting to Kaadeedhdhoo Domestic Airport takes less than an hour. You won't notice the 10-minute boat ride when you're surrounded by the natural beauty of the Maldives.

We spent 6 nights over the water and we were lucky to have such beautiful sunny weather for most of the days we spent there.

You'll be able to dive into crystal waters or share an intimate alfresco meal on your private deck. Step inside to an understated elegant space, where an inviting king bed, outdoor covered bath area and sophisticated technology have thoughtfully been put in place for you to discover paradise, to uncover heaven on earth.

Overall Maldives was an amazing honeymoon destination. I have never felt so relaxed in my life. If your planning on going to the Maldives be ready to feel relaxed, unwind and enjoy the beautiful sun and crystal clear water!
